Student Learning in Action

All lessons are delivered live through Microsoft Teams using a digital writing tablet (XP-Pen) for clear, step-by-step explanations on a virtual whiteboard. Students actively participate, ask questions, and work through problems in real time.

After each lesson, all teaching materials, notes, and resources are shared via a personal OneNote link — keeping everything organised and easy to access for review and homework.

To support learning beyond the live lessons, each student has access to a dedicated Microsoft Teams page. This platform serves as a central hub for communication, resources, and ongoing support, helping students stay organised and engaged throughout their tuition journey.

We use Dr Frost Maths as our main platform for setting homework, quizzes, and assessments. It allows students to practise targeted questions aligned with the curriculum, receive instant feedback, and track their progress over time. As a tutor, I use it to set weekly homework linked to each lesson and monitor each student’s performance in real time.
